There are 3 main types of product placement options:

  • Passive placement: Your product is part of the background set, but nobody uses it or names it.


  • Verbal placement: your product is named, but the actors do not interact with it. 


  • Active placement: the characters interact with your product.

Chairman

Garry Harris is an experienced business builder and strategic advisor. Garry has over thirty years’ experience providing leadership and advice to service, retail, and consumer organizations in both the private and public sector nationally and internationally. Key roles over his career have encompassed CEO and Managing Partner roles at global advertising agency DDB for a decade. At DDB Garry was heavily involved in creating some brand leading campaigns for companies like McDonalds, Cadbury, Schweppes and Telstra among many others. Prior to DDB he was Professor and Head of Department of Marketing at Australia’s largest University, Monash. He has also consulted to a range of top 200 companies in Australia and globally.

Patrick

Hoare

Head of Production

Patrick, a French national, educated in England and the USA, has been active in the media industry since 1984. He was a senior executive at Kirch Group and president of several Kirch companies representing the licensing interests of major US studios and producers in Germany and Europe. Patrick also spent ten years in Singapore overseeing international film and television co-productions by, among others, Germany’s Constantin, Italy’s Rai, France Television and Ufa. At present, Patrick is based in Munich, advising film financing and film production companies on financing and production models.

Rachel has worked in the media industry for over 30 years in both a production and sales capacity. Having worked with licensing and branding of various media projects and platforms, her knowledge of the FMCG and QSR categories and their required outcomes, allows for creative yet strategic thinking that delivers strong results for both SPG film projects and product partners.
